When i first booted after installing my x3 i held the power switch to bypass the mod and a game loaded fine. now when i try and do the same thing with the same game (or anything else for that matter games dvds etc...) i get the call customer support error 05. what could my problem be? I've tried flashing bios with the newest x3 version but it stops at "CD Rom Label:BIOS" Thank you all for your time and input.

much appreciated,

Re: cant install port io on windows 7 64 bit

I followed this guide to flash my drive in win7 x64. Worked great. Even flashed it with my on board via sata controller.

Well I think you can still get portio working using their driver signature program, they sign a file "portio64.sys" other then trying this you'd have to duel boot a x86 system

Re: cant install port io on windows 7 64 bit

Just install the 32 bit version of the OS which also comes with the package you buy for windows 7. Other than that.... I think it's SOL

Re: cant install port io on windows 7 64 bit

i just switched from 64 bit to 32 bit. i dont want to upgrade to more then 4gb on the ram so it dont matter, and 32 bit is just way easier then 64bit to live with.

Re: cant install port io on windows 7 64 bit

The Se7ensins.com forum is down at the moment. Are there any other known tutorials for this? I am stuck trying to get this working on Win 7 x64.

Re: cant install port io on windows 7 64 bit

you have to use a program that signs the drivers for it as as windows 7 requires signed drivers
