I have a 1.2-1.5 Xbox that I did a mod on a while ago using a X2.6 and the 5032 BIOS. It ran great for a while, but then started having a problem when starting up. Here is what's happening:
First turn on box, runs great.
After it's been running, if I have to reboot the box or turn it off (should it freeze for any reason) the box will not start back up and FRAGs.
The box has to sit for an undetermined amount of time before trying to run it again.
Since it boots up, it doesn't seem like it could be the soldering on the D0. I have tried running the box with a solder less adapter (after removing the pin header) and it exhibits the same systems: runs great unless I have to reboot.
Has anyone had this problem and been able to solve it? I'd really like to be able to salvage this box without having to replace it, if at all possible.
Thanks in advenced.
