still kinda new to the conversion of files to iso. I know how to, but if I make a folder to burn the evox onto a disk with, do i need to make a large dummy file to take up space?
if you know the answer then just let me know it.....i mean jeeze it take five seconds to type it down.....if not then say you don't know, then of course ill HAVE to go read around....
im assuming you are talking about your other thread that you left earlier. Just burn the iso as a disk image in nero, or use the bin and the cue - if you extracted all the viles out of the bin/iso then just burn the contents onto a CDRW and use them. You only need to create a dummy file when you are burning a really small file onto a disk (IE. bios file) http://www.teamxecuter.com/flashbios/dummy.htm
If you are still referring to the evox install, then you do not need to use a dummy file. just burn the image.
Put the dummy file in the folder and make an iso of that. The ISO is EVERYTHING that goes on the disc. So the dummy file has to be part of the ISO. A dummy file will make the disc read much easier. If this helps, please add to my rep, Thanks.
