Would love to Flash

Ok i have read through lots and lots of post but can't find any that refers to my problem or similar. I am happy with how to flash the bios i have the latest bios for the X3 3294 and i have my xbox hooked up to my router all ready to rock and roll. FlashBIOS 3.0.1 comes up, it sees the xecuter with its full capacity (2048) all test passed ready to rock and roll all i wanna do is sellect flash via http BUT no matter which port i put the controller in (and yes its a Microshonk official one) i can't sellect or move down the options, i have pressed every button in turn but nothing happens.

I'm really sorry if the solution is in another post, but i'm completely baffled as to what to do .

Try the Xbox remote control if you got that.
Other than that try another controller...
Or if you don't have a Xbox version 1.6, try the other FlashBIOS bank changes switches to
ON OFF ON ON ON and then switch it back to ON ON OFF OFF for flashing.

Is it possible that you might have the following problems:
1. You might have damaged the wiring from your controller ports to the mobo during your install?
2. You might have forgotten to plug the controller ports wiring onto the mobo during your install? I know I did :).
