Does how to flash your chip become more apparent when you actually have it? I don't have mine yet, and am looking into what I need to do, and this just confuses me.....the tutorials confuse me further.

Can you install the chip, close your xbox, start it up, and flash a bios through the chip before doing anything to it besides installing it?

No it's shipping as we speak.

install the chip. reasmble what needed to turn the xbox on. turn on the xbox. if u see flashbios then ur good to go. if not check ur soldering. if u see flashbios then u flash the chip w/ the latest x3 bios (3294 if u have a 1.6 mobo dl the x3 bios for the 1.6 mobo). after that ur done.

BE SURE TO USE THE CORRECT BIOS FOR YOUR XBOX VERSION!!!!

If you don't you can easily screw up your xbox!!!

So take your time and be carefull!
