Isn't this both the greatest thing you've ever seen, and also the funniest because he is so f**ked:

It’s pretty common for kids to go trolling on game forums and make obnoxious claims such as having a go on the Xbox 360 in their own home. Well, this thread on Gamespot started that way, except the kid actually backed up his claims with these photos:

Now the kid is begging to get the thread deleted (maybe he found out what an NDA is), but the cat is already out of the bag. Apparently his step dad just started working for Microsoft under the title of Regulatory Compliance Manager, and is currently hardware testing the Xbox 360. The wires coming out the top are for such testing. The hardware is apparently complete, and although there were no 360 games to test, he gave Halo 2 a spin in backwards compatibility. He is claiming the power supply is external, and is enourmous. He also raved about the user interface/dashboard and the feel of the controller (and this coming from an admitted PlayStation fan, so it must be good).

You are a damn lucky kid, but I hope you didn’t just cost your step dad his new job.

I prolly would of shut up about it... because I enjoy when my family can pay bills and stuff.

He basically told the world who he and his dad was, what his position was in MS, and that he has a fully operational Xbox 360. It may be a legit source, but showing it off and basically revealing it to the whole world has to be a violation of the NDA. Has to be.

I doubt it will happen, though, because the kid keeps refuting the fact that he has a 360. He says "Oh, I Photoshopped it" and "thats really just a modded PS2". Here is that bit of info:

He edited all of his posts and removed the info and pics, but the thread still isn’t closed. He is now telling everyone that it was photoshopped… or that it’s a modded ps2. He didn’t quite make up his mind yet. Basically he’s just trying to cover his ass and failing miserably.

BTW, the little box in front of the tv is supposedly the xbox 360 wireless adaptor. He said that the Xbox 360 only works with this wifi dongle. He wasn’t very clear or very sure of himself, but apparently his step dad told him it only has drivers for that dongle and wont work with anything else.

Well taking a close look at it not even the best photoshopper could make the carpet thread beneath the "360" bend down with sum reprocusions lol and moddified PS2 LOL, the 360 is that good that PS2 owners want one lol

My good friend just started working for M$. He had told me its pretty tight project right now. He can't even get near the boxes.

2. Also note the possibility of a proper Xbox being hidden behind his cushion (playing Halo 2).

3. The 'testing' wires protruding from the unit are suspicious. Too short (and too many) IMHO.

4. Finally, the shot of Xbox360 startup screen looks just like the footage from the launch video.

This stinks of publicity....
