LITEON 74850 Write Failed, Stuck in Vendor

When trying to update my LiteOn 745 firmware to LT+ 2.0, JungleFlasher froze when writing at "bank 0". Now my drive is not detected, and is stuck in 0x72. When I try to write now I get a "Unknown flash type Write aborted !". If I try to resend vendor info it fails.

I'm stuck. Anyone know where to go from here?

I am flashing with a Blaster360 and VIA VT6421, using JungleFlasher 0.1.89 Beta.

1. power off your drive
2. send intro/device id to the port you use for flashing
3. press yes
4. power on your drive
5. you should get 0x72 and see Winbond or MXIC in chip properties

write your firmware

i also agree with blakey8 about removing your drivers

Thank you both for your responses.

The drivers have already been properly disabled as it says in the manual. I re followed the steps just to be sure.

@joesinger47 I tried doing as you instructed, but the re intro still fails. I'm wondering if this is because I am using the Blaster360 kit and to re-cycle the drives power you use the xbox's main power button?

Maybe i'll take apart the xbox and unplug/plug in the drives power manually.

@Blakey8 Clicking the Lite-On Erase and recycling the drive power gives me a 0x80 and "Device Intro failed".

I've noticed that it seems like the power recycle takes a little longer than I remember when using the xbox's main power switch when paired with the blaster360. I wonder if this is the problem.. I think i'll take apart the xbox and recycle the drive manually.

this is likely the case
i've never had good power cycling success with the blaster

unplugging the drive power from the back of the drive/plugging back in works better

I took apart the xbox and tried manually unplugging/plugging in the power cord to the drive and bypassing the blaster360 kit but that doesn't seem to help.

I'm starting to wonder if I maybe I bricked my drive. Is there any way that I could tell for sure?

Update
Well it appears that I did indeed brick my drive.

Thanks everyone who tried helping me out.
