I have a v1.4 xbox X3 Mod w/ ProSwitch. Usually I have no issue with flashing a new BIOS onto my chip, but for some reason now I am unable to due to a warning mssg. saying "Please disable write protection and flash again." My chip itself has a red led (unprotected) and my proswitch is also set to unprotected. Is there another place that I do not know of to disable write protection? I have search all Team Xecuter forums, Google, and Xbox-Scene w/o any luck. If you have any info please help!!! Thank you in advance.

Unplug the external switch completely. Boot to the Backup BIOS and try to flash the newest X3 BIOS from there. With the switch removed, it'll default to bank 1234 1MB.

Still same mssg "Please remove write protection and flash again!". I did exactly as you said unplugged the external switch from the chip and made sure that chip switch is set to red. Does eeprom or my LCD screen have anything to do with write protection?

LoL if that works someone prolly thought while making the chip, "Green good to flash Red no flash".. as with the sceen printing.. i've seen other posts where this was brought up.
