Xboxv1.1, X3 chip installed. bios flashed with M8v.1.6, instead of X3 1959 ( I took bad advise) bios flashed fine, xbox turned off. I turned xbox back on and blank screen and XMas lights. Is there any way of saving this? Is there a programer or will anything work?

hey all i did was change the combination on the switch panel, try putting switch number 4 and any other on, u shud get the normal flashbios 3.0.3 back up and jus flash from ther. also if u hav all the switches on and boot ur box it shud run the normal dash. i hope this works for ya. i only got my chip 2day but that kinda seemed to work for me. do u hav x3 1956 by any chance? i really need it.

Nah!
set switches to off,on,off, off, off(flash protect)Bank 2 (1M) cromwell should boot ...whilst in cromwell change them to on,on,off, off, off and reflash over the M8 with 1959.(Assumimg u put it on the first bank)
Alternatively....
set switches on,on,off, off, off (flash protect) Bank 1 (1M) and then boot backup flash: (press pwr/reset togther) then reflash

By the same do u mean u have Evox on a bank??

If you are certain there is no cromwell version in any bank..
backup should work for u though make sure you tap them both and do not hold them...this works for me

if still no joy read magic monkeys post to boot evox and install the flash erase.
