Wrong bios installed, need help resolving.

Okay I know what the problem is i just need advise on how to solve it

I've got xbox version 1.6 i think it is 1.6b not thats not 100%
its brand new bought 5 days ago

Chip: Xecuter 3 CE with xapt3r 1.6

Some of you may know that on some xboxs you can't access both 1BM banks

I've installed "X3 3294.bin" on to the flashbios i could accesss which was
off on off off
and i can't get on to on on off off
and now my xbox restarts 3 times then the eject button flashs from red to green

this is because i've installed the wrong bios for my xbox.
what i should of installed was "X3 3294 v16plus.bin"
and no i can't access either of the flashbios
because one of them has the wrong bios, and the other i coldn't access in the first place.

Any help to solving this problem would help alot, cheers.

Btw, I dont have any friends who have chips so hot swaping isn't n option unless i go out and buy another chip, which would be pointless as i'd just use that chip and throw this one away...

You have a number of options:

1. Get a new chip.
2. Put it into an Xbox 1.0-1.5 (or even a 1.6a)
3. Hotswap it with another chip (see 1).

That's it really.

I've got my x3 Ce installed right
with the switch and all, so basically it will work if the bios were correct
if i bought a x2ce and installed that on to my pin head i got no, will it work? without taking out all the stuff i got now and putting x2ce stuff in?
example, the switch, the xapt3r etc...

well i kinda did the opposite thing..

i flashed the "X3 3294 v16plus" bios to the chip then the screen went wierd, it was like there were peach colored stripes on the screen, so i turned off the xbox thinking it was gonna f*** it up.

Now i get the same 3 restarting then FRAGing LED crap, so basically i need to buy a new chip or could i get a replcement directly from Xecuter?

I'ved ordered a xapt3r for my sisters 1.1 xbox

I am gonna install it on hers, i'm gonna flash the x3 1.0-1.5 bios back to flashbios 3.0.3 (the lastest) then put it back in mine and do 1.6 x3 bios.

or i might just flash the current 1.0-1.5 x3 bios with 1.6 bios

But, I'm kinda new to this and idont wanna go buying anymore than already have
so i need to ask

This chip is ment for my xbox which is 1.6
if i install "X3 3294 v16plus.bin" on to the chip, in bank off on off off it will/ should work right?
on my 1.6 xbox.

I am jst checking before i do so, since i ****ed the chip up last time by installing the wrong bios.

The chip is not broken and still usuable, just not for 1.6b as you did not take any precaution when flashing. Read up on this there are so many posts.

You can send it back for reflashing to your supplier (where you bought it) or get a new chip. You won't get a replacement as there is nothing wrong with the chip and can still be made usuable for you.

well anyways, we hooked his chip up in my xbox and relfashed the bios with the backup and it seemed to work fine, i mean it shut off and everything, but it still wont boot normally in On On Off Off or Off On Off Off.

is there something wrong with the chip or is it me?

If you can get to the backup bios there is definately nothing wrong with the chip. Which bios are you flashing? Get your chip flashed in his Xbox with the X3 bios for Xbox version 1.6. (X3_3294_v16plus.bin)
It won't work in his Xbox but it should work in yours. If not check pins 13+14.

well its soldered correctly and stuff, i get to the backup bios and reflash the bios but yet nothing happened, it still FRAGs and crap, so what do i do now?

Well this chip will go in a v1.5 xbox, but somehow cant get to the backup while in that xbox
Switch is On On Off Off
Like i said my xbox is a v1.6, i have a chip for mine, works great, but his chip just wont go into backup on his.

what would that do?

i can get to the backup, reflash the bios, xbox shutdown, but chip still FRAGs, how would disconnecting the bios switch do anything?

i did and no go :(

Here is the jist.

I can flash bioses to it just fine, but it seems the chip just never...like.....finds them when it starts up, it just 3x restarts then FRAGs. My roomate, whom this xbo belongs to, has been getting emails from xecuter, but so far nothing is working. But yet they say to reflash the FlashBIOS, but i get to that just fine, yet it says FlashBIOS 3.0.1 on the TV screen, but on the webpage for Network Flashing it says FlashBIOS 3.0.0. :?

What do i have to do to this thing so it works?

It seems i have tried everything, and the xbox wont even boot w/o the chip either. :(

EDIT: They also mentioned hotswapping it with my xbox (v1.6), his is a v1.5. if i did hotswap it, then when EXACTLY would i do it?
