Wrong bios installed, Please help

Okay I know what the problem is i just need advise on how to solve it

I've got xbox version 1.2 or 1.3 i was told it was a 1.6 from the installer but after doing the version chercker It came out to be a 1.2 or 1.3. :eek:

I installed the 1.6 bios on the first 1mb bank and it boots up with audio but no picture and I think its because of the wrong bios.

Chip: Xecuter 3 CE with xapt3r 1.6

I've installed "X3 1.6 plus bios" on to the flashbios i could access which was
on on off off off

I have disconnect the bank switch hoping to reflash the default bank again. I am flashing from the cd but how do i flash it again without having any video there?

I can get to the back up bios with power and eject but i do not want to mess things up worse.

I have the xbox hooked up to my hub but I can't seem to http into it.


Any help to solving this problem would help alot

Ok, I flashed the correct bios onto bank 2 and it took 3294 with no problem. Now I have to find out how to install a dashboard. Is there any good links?

my xbox booted fine into the bios screen and all i changed was the network settings to DHCP. I restarted the box and now it keeps getting stuck at the xbox screen with the words

Xecuter
Rox my Box

any ideas?

Thanks for the help, I followed your advise on another thread that kind of had the same problem and got it working again.

I cant seem to get out of the
Xecuter
Rox my Box
screen. I can only boot normal xbox dash, enable my chip and i get the screen above, and also touch power/eject and go into flash bios 3.01. I cannot get back to the bios screen where i was about to set settings? Please help

Ok, i got it there is a bug with X3 3294 v16plus.bin where if you set a password and then reboot it will just hang and will not ask you for the password to continue. Ok to fix it i downloaded X3 1892 v16.bin and then when i rebooted it prompted me to enter the password. Now i will go in and disable password and reinstall X3 3294 v16plus.bin. You cannot reenable password while using X3 3294 v16plus.bin. Thank you
