Wrong header on 2.6?

Recieved it today, i've used this chip before without any problems. But this chip seems to have the wrong hole blocked on the header.

PIC

The pinheader, and wire install adapter both have the upper left pin hole empty, and the pin on the right side, so the chip will cannot be installed.

Is this some sort of production error, or an error on my account? And more importantly, how to fix?

That's really odd, I don't believe I've ever seen a plugged socket on any Xecuter chip. Do you have a 1.6 Xbox? If not I would just pull the "blocked" pin from the pinheader or the wire install piece and install as normal. Looking at the details from the wire install diagram pin 15 (what is blocked on your chip) isn't used on anything but the 1.6. I can tell you from personal experience that pin 15 is not needed for an X2.6CE on a 1.0 xbox. If you've got a 1.6 and plan on doing a wire install you don't need to worry about pin 15 on the socket either. You will be wiring the green wire from socket pin 9 to LPC hole 15 anyway. If you're doing a 1.6 pinheader install with the LPC rebuild then you are going to need to get that plug out of the socket. Should probably put a call in to the shop you bought the chip from and let them know of the problem.

Works with the chip enabled but FRAGs with it disabled? No service error on screen? Never heard of this situation occurring, doesn't mean it is impossible. If you actually remove the chip from the pinheader and boot as normal do you still FRAG? Trying to narrow it down to barebones.

Normally when you FRAG without the chip it is a broken trace or solder splash... but all posts I recall seeing regarding a FRAG on chip disable started with a FRAG on chip enable as well.

When I boot with chip enabled, it gives me the flashbios screen, so it looks good to me. But frags with disabled. I'll try removing the chip. And if that doesn't work, i'll just flash the retail MS bios to bank 2, and use the bios bank switch as a chip enable/disable.
