Wrote old dash NAND after updating dash

TX Product(s) used: CR4XL, JR Programmer V2
Console Type: Falcon
NAND size: 16MB

Not very relevant to this specific issue, but all solder points/screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/jSelS

Got the CR4XL, hooked everything up, grabbed the NAND successfully, wrote Xell, but it always RROD. After some messing around I forgot this xbox had an old dash that needed upgrading (8955). Reverted NAND to stock, removed power from CR4XL, booted to stock and upgraded the dash. After that, I went back and (mostly by habit) used the original 8955 NAND to create/write Xell. And when it still failed, I tried reverting back to stock by using the original NAND backup again

I saw the thread with info on how to create a new NAND if you already have your key - but what if you didn't get that far yet? I am assuming at this point it is toast, but any good news would be welcome :D

If you didn't get a valid dump of the nand after you updated it you will need to rgh it.

Which "Falcon" guide are you talking about?

The guide for CR4 PHAT R-JTAG+ has already been posted.
AllyNerd said that I would have to RGH it. Per Ubergeek in the thread I linked:
I will have the RGH2+ guides for Falcon and Jasper live later today
And in the thread you linked to Ubergeek said:
We will be releasing diagrams for RGH2+ shortly

(though they were posted two days ago)

So I assume in order to get around the NAND issue I created I need to wait for the RGH2+ guide... unless I misunderstood something?

The guide Ubergeek posted is fine.

If you follow it to the letter, you shouldn't have a problem.

Just remember to use the JTAG options in J-Runner and use the AUD_CLAMP wiring method.
