It isnt going to work if you dont set the dips. you know the little switches? You havnt even taken the film protector off of it yet. :( those switches tell it how to apply the glitch. with out ever setting them, it wont even attempt to glitch. move the jumper to the other side of the middle pins, or to 0ohm, and set dip 3 to on, I find that to be a good starting point. Leave dips 7 and 8 alone, as this is a jasper. dips 1-6 are for tuning the glitch cycle, and the jumper is only needed on certain consoles to perfect boot times. good luck. once you find the optimal dip, as I said, try 1 -6 1 at a time, adjust post jumper, if that helps and you are down to 1-2 cycle boots thats great, if not, start applying caps, using those settings. some will make it worse, some better. you can also readjust the dips with the caps, and jumper changes. really it is down to trial and error for the perfect settings, but before you can test you need to create your xebuild image, as I have found xell to always boot faster(less glitch cycles) as when using rater, you get the best results with the drive, hdd, kinect, wifi, etc plugged in, as each of these things will efffect the boot times.

his problem right now is to clean up his soldering ,trim wires ,and solder points that he missed , then setup dips on cr4 if needed( jsinger or oggy correct me if im wrong but this point is still need to sync the cr4 to the motherboard?)

I will agree the soldering isnt great, but I have seen worse boot. That being said, from the previous pictures, that point looked connected, or at least soldered to. And since the console still turns on, it is obvious that the problem is not that the point is having issues. Also I have had them not glitch at all if a dip wasnt set.

surely not getting a green light on cr4 would be nothing to do with dips , he as them as per tut so it should work if his soldering was perfect

im waiting on answer from oggy/jsinger because ive done jasper, 3 to be exact and I didn't get a green debug light til I solder the stdy clk wire , then it glitched 1st time no dips ,caps etc , so I will agree on jasper the dips has nothing to do with debug light not blinking, his soldering it not good or bad but it will do if there making connections!
