WTF is goin on

X3 pin header install.....XBOX version 1.1..........WD160HD....

Ok.....my box had been working perfectly for 3 months without problems. Then it has started to frag (3 resets then red/green flashing) usually the problem would just fix itself and it would work after a few trys...after w while it took longer and longer to make it work so i would open the box up and tweak the chip around till it eventually started to work again.

Now its been 2 weeks since i last got my box to work....

Ive tried everything in the book and nothing has worked. The bix has the same result with the chip on the header and off the header...i cant get it to boot to the flach bios screen or anything. all i get is the 3 resets and then the frags.....

Is there a broken trace? or maybe my box shorted out..... ive done everything

Check all your solder points and double check them all, then triple check your D0 point.

i had this problem when I was using a jewel light, i disconnected from the HD apater and then the box started to work again.

the solder points should have nothing to do with the box not working with the chip off the header.

I have resolderd the D0 before
