I recently purchased the Xecuter 2.6 CE and Xapt3r 16 Solderless Combo from but I'm having problems installing. I'm no newbie to installing sholderless chips/adaptors but it would seem that the wires coming from the adaptor which are to connect to the motherboard are too thick to slot in to the indicated A,B,C,D,E holes.
My xbox has a manu date of 2005-04-09
Already used a fiberpen, (as suggested by baldbouncer) but no fiberpen in the world is going to make the hole any bigger or wire any thinner.
I've installed countless spider chips over the last year so know what I'm doing and have had no problems until now with this adapter.
Any help or advise would be great.
