X-Box flashes orange

The chip seems to be installed correctly, all the lights are on, but the X-box turns on, then off, then it stays on. It only flashes in orange. I have no picture/sound, my A/V cable is just fine, and the power button/ eject button has no effect. The only way I can turn it off is by unplugging it. I haven't flashed anything at all. To flash you need to have the bios screen to appear, right? Please help.....

Same problem whether the chip is enabled/disabled? Same problem when enabled on either bank? Pinheader/wire/Xapter install?

Its pinheader installed. Its the same problem when its enabled/disabled, bank 1/2

Since it happens when you have the chip off, there is a problem with your install. Look for bridged/burned traces.

How could I repair burned traces?

Easiest way would be with a conductive pen. I believe you can get them at Radio Shack.
