I was in the process of flashing my bios (1mb on, on, off, off, off) thru HTTP, when my X-Box Turned off. Once I reset it, it simply resets 3 times, then blinks red/green...

What can I do? I can't get it to boot regular, modded, or backup memory! I just installed a new HDD if that could make a difference, but it has been working fine for 2 months now, so I know my solders are good!

Hold the Eject and the Power button at the same time and boot to the backup FlashBios.
Now you can reflash with the X3 bios.

If that doesn't work it means YOU reflashed the backup bios with a bad bios or your chip is bad/not installed correctly...something might have been jarred loose.

I can finally get into the backup bios, and it is reflashing now. What happens if this attempt fails to load? I got the bios from another place now, its the X3_1959_v16plus.bin

Yeah. To put my new HDD in, all i would have to do is turn it off, plug the new 1 in, boot it up, then select "New Hard Drive Upgrade" right?

ALSO, is there any way that I could use a new HDD, and still disable the mod for games that I havn't "backed up" yet, or play online?

As long as you have not already signed up for XBOX Live, you should be alright to play online.

You can always use XBC or XLink to play for free.

You can play your original games regardless if the chip is on or off.

I think I wiped both BIOSes. Does the X-Ecuter 2.6 Flasher/Programmer work with X3? What happened to schematic link to build your own?
