X Box Wont turn on after flashing X3 3294

Hi,
I'm using an Xapt3r with Xecuter 3 CE Chip (v1.4 Xbox), I followed the tuts and have got to the bios flash screen. When I try to flash with the X3 3294 bios, everything goes ok except when I try to strart the xbox it turns on then goes straight off again. I've repositioned the Xapter and D0 a thousand times and nothing works. Also tried X3 eprom erase.
I have tried using the evox M8 bios and everything goes smoothly. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong or how to fix?

Did you set any New Password up when you flashed your bios? If so check out the threads ( Xbox hangs @ boot up ) that seems to be causing a problem, I've seen people say the screen goes black if this was done also. There is a way to fix it by installing an older bios and erasing the password then reflashing with the newer bios and NEVER using a password or else it happens all over again.

thanks for the quick reply both of you.
I'm pretty sure it's not the password as I HTTP'd the bios I've also tried the x3_erase app to erase any password etc. Also double checked the dip switches and neither bank seems to work (on/on/off/off/off and off/on/off/off/off).
Any other suggestions pls?

Sounds like you flashed with the wrong bios for your xbox, done that myself! I think you flashed the 1.6 version to your 1.4 version!
