X-ecuter3 w/ Auto-Installer Deluxe question

I am going to get the X3 chip and I'm going to use the AID2.0 to config my HD, etc.. On here it contains a list of BIOS's but Im not sure which to use. I has the following listed for the X3 chip:

Xecuter3 2914
Xecuter3 2914 137 GB+
Xecuter3 2914 137 GB+ VGA
Xecuter3 2914 Stealth 137 GB+
Xecuter3 2914 Stealth 137 GB+ VGA
Xecuter3 3108
Xecuter3 3108 v 1.6

I'm not sure what version of xbox I have but I'm assuming I dont use any of the 137 GB because I'm going to use a 120GB HD. So out of the remainder what do you guys think?

MaX ReaLiTy: If it doesn't list a profile for the newest X3 BIOS, I'd pick either the last two, depending on what version you use. Honestly, I'd just let the X3 configure it in Config Live. There are options in there that can partition it and everything.

So if I use the X3 Config Live it will pick one for me? Will that be FlashBIOS by default?

Your a bit confused. I'd flash the BIOS with X3 3294. Then I'd use X3's Config Live to partition the HDD.

This is what I am interpriting from your question: I want to install my X3 and 120 GB HDD. I want to use Auto-Installer Deluxe. (I am saying that I would dump the AID and do it manually) Am I correct?

Sorry about my answer before I assume too much.

The installer basically dumps alot of dashboards, applications and emulators on your hard drive.
Prior to using it, you need to flash your bios, and format / prepare your hard drive.
X3 Config Live has options to partition your hard drive so it can be done there once you have flashed your bios correctly with the X3 bios.
And the advice before, try to flash your bios with the latest one available to you.

AID can also format and prepare your hard drive when you boot up on it and this is optional.
Flashing your bios there are several ways, but you wouldn't need to think about it again if your actually running the installer. Its done prior to this stage.

Ok so let me see if I got this right. I read the FlashBIOS tutorial I think I understand somewhat. First of all I will need to install my X3 chip. Once that is done I boot up my Xbox and I will get the FlashBIOS screen. At this point have I already installed the new HD and put in a BIOS CD (by the way I have the updated X3 in here, Im just retarded). Now FlashBIOS will load that BIOS and I can proceed with AID. Is that right?

I can't be certain that it will run that smoothly but basically seems okay.

Another important note is about finding your xbox version.
You really need to know this as theres a seperate bios, modchip installation method for 1.6.

Edit:
You will probably still need to play around with the X3 bios settings before and after AID such as boot options. Hard Drive bit was not mentioned but we already went through the two options you can consider.
