ALWAYS USE THE INCLUDED INI FILE AS THERE MAY BE NEW CHANGES

These are recommended x2 config apps - ONLY USE IF THEY SUPPORT 5032 - EDIT INI FILE MANUALLY UNTIL THEN - LBA48 PATCHING SHOULD BE OK THOUGH

NOTE:
- YOU CHANGE ALL THE BIOS SETTINGS VIA THE INI FILE
- THERE IS NO APP OR OS ON SCREEN - ITS ALL DONE VIA INI FILE
(EXCEPT LBA48 PATCHING)
- THIS BIOS SHOULD WORK ON ANY MODCHIP THAT CAN BOOT A 512k BIOS
- BIOS ARE ALWAYS IN BETA - THERE WILL BE BUGS - DO NOT ASK IN HERE FOR
HELP - POST BUGS ONLY - DO NOT IGNORE THIS !!!

- added: if ini file becomes corrupt (resulting in dvd boot filename to be empty) then this value is reset to "default.xbe"
- added: if nothing could be booted (no dvd and no dash) then an XBE called "rescue.xbe" is run from DVD drive,
so, if nothing else boots, THIS XBE WILL BOOT !!
- note: So just in case the ini file gets ****ed up and the xbe boot name gets erased/whatever, then it's reset to
"default.xbe" so you'll be able to boot evoXdash or whatever.... (if disableCdromBoot is switched off)
If you switch on the disableCdromBoot setting and got no frigging single working dash on your harddrive then the
system now does a fallback boot and tries to boot "rescue.xbe" from dvd - so this will ALWAYS enable you to boot
an avalaunch/evoxdash/whatever from dvd to fix your ini!

Okay xbmc now works in debug with 5032. Not sure what you did but it worked.

Working fine on my box. Despite the warning, dash drive letter case seems fixed.

dash1Name = e:dashes\avalaunch.xbe
dash2Name = e:dashes\evoxdash.xbe
boots Avalaunch

dash1Name = E:dashes\avalaunch.xbe
dash2Name = e:dashes\evoxdash.xbe
*still* boots Avalaunch

BTW, like the new readme. No excuses now!

Can also confirm that XBMC works without crashing even in debug
Waiting on that Halo 2 running in debug mode

got a problem with splinter cell chao theroy, uk blockbuster hdd rip and removed as uch as possible, wont go past the loading screen, before 5031 etc perfect, and double checking everything though.

Sounds like you accidently deleted something that was needed. The game runs fine here even with PAL movies and non-english files ripped

no. the game is fine - i play it myself.

There is a problem with the lastest version (5032) and accent (é à ç for example). It is impossible to upload directories with accents, nor see already uploaded directories with accents.
I tried with Evox FTP, but, with my previous bios version (4983), there wasn't any problem. As I'm french, I have directories with accent, so, I had to reflash to 4983.

Found a problem with 5032 booting PES4(NTSC) from CD on a PAL Xbox. Except for one movie, screen is blank and audio can be heard. Do a soft reboot (IGR) and it appears fine. Load it from a dash (I use UnleashX) - again, loads fine. Tried both PAL60 off and on. Reverted to 4983 which works ok - haven't tried any other CL BIOS.

I would, but xbins doesn't host any previous versions... I've only got 5032

I also got those reboot issues, when selecting reboot from menu's (such as flashx) it just hangs with black screen. I'm using 5032 on an v1.3

Hi all.

Just ran into a strange problem. I am running a 1.6 PAL xbox with a Xenium ICE (Pls no bashing, i'm just an end user!) and the M8+ bios. After copying Forza Motorsport from my DVD to HD it ran like a charm.

About a week later i decided to try out the new xecuter bios for 1.6 xboxes (x2_5032_v16plus_512k.bin) I installed it parallel to my M8 bios and booted.
No problems so far and the IGR seemed to work a lot better. (Kudos team Xecuter!!)

About a day later I noticed that Forza Motorsport wasn't running anymore. I figured the game had gotten corrupted or something and decided to recopy it.
It didn't work. After a lot of trying I finally tried teh old 'n good M8 bios again.

To my astonishment it worked instantly.
I have tried a few times afterwards, it seems that the new 5032 X2 bios is not compatible with Forza Motorsport. I have failed to find any other games that are not working, but if I find any I'll be sure to report em in. It is the only bug I could find with the 5032 bios, in general i like it a lot better over the M8+ bios.
