total noob here when it comes to xbox mods (not a big video game person)

which would be a better bios to go with, just got an X2.6CE going in my 1.6b

not exactly sure what differences both bios' have over eachother but some input would be most appreciated

thanks :D

the X2 5035 is the latest bios made for X2.x chips
you can configure the ini file that comes with the download to your liking
and as stated above make sure you flash the appropriate version of the bios to your box

I believe the M8 needs to have all the color/dash path/etc. settings set in the BIOS and then the BIOS needs to be flashed to the chip. If you're the kind of person that thinks they may play around with these settings frequently, or even at all, X2CL is definitely the way to go. No need to reflash, just update the ini. Flashing can be a risky process and there are many that come through here which have goofed it.

Another vote for X2CL 5035. Hands down. I guess the only better BIOS I could think of would be for the X3 chips (and CANNOT be run on an X2 chip) but since if I get one of those I want to go whole-hog (X3CE and front panel) that makes it a bit pricey. My good ol' X2.3 lite is still working just fine.
