X2.5035 flashed to 2.6ce, black screen, need help

2.6ce just installed. Chip set to bank 2. Flashed X2.4977 via http but did not rename file to BIOS.bin. Found X2.5035 and flashed via http as BIOS.bin. Those are the only steps I have taken so far, HDD is stock. Now when I switch to bank 1 and fire up, I hear the usual sound of a stock xbox booting up, but have a black screen. On bank 2, I get flashbios 3.0.3. Suggestions? Thanks!!

I flashed it with the file's given name this time and the same issue exits. Black screen when booting to bank 1, but I hear the sounds of an un-modded xbox booting. Then after a few seconds, if I hit A or Y, I hear noises like I am messing with system settings in xbox dash. I have done nothing with the config file. Could this cause the problem?

That was the problem, wrong bios used. I'm up and running now. Thank you for helping the common idiot! Much appreciated.

Last question: I know to boot up a new dashboard from a disc, so do I import the x2config.ini file before or after dashboard? If before, how do you transfer it to xbox hdd before you have a dashboard to enable ftp or hdd access? Thanks again.

get a dash going first for ftp (make a bootdisc) and then once you've editted the ini file to your liking, place the file in root of the E or F drive
