ok i forgot to disable the flash protect and my son accidently flashed it with a x3 bios 1mb image so both banks are bad now and it flashes red and green .. will the programer fix this issue or is the chip bad now?

What you need a good sturdy belt to give your son the thrashing he deserves...
In the meantime, a programmer (or another 2.6) would be able to fix this.

You plug the X2.6 chip into the programmer, load up the X2 bios manager software and flash the correct bios to the chip or if you have a working xbox that has a chip in it, you can try hot swapping the chip
