x2.6 help

hi i have x2.6 chip and v.1.6 xbox instaled and chip disablled works fine. but on bank 1 i put the x2 4981 bios and when turned on just flashes 3 times and thsn stays on black screen then on bank 2 is the flash bios install blue screen but on this bank just loads black screen then buton gose red. the chip was instaled on a nother motherboard befor with dffren hard drive if any one could help thanx and also hdd light never flashed so i think bad chip or somthing

Sounds like you need a 1.6 compatible bios to me . FlashBios v3.03 and x2_ 5035_v16plus_512k are the latest and is built specific for the 1.6 console . I think your chip is fine , it just needs flashed with the correct bios . : )

ok wher do i get this bios from the one compatible with my 1.6 xbox and how do i get the flash bios screen to come up on both bank modes it stays a black screen will i have to re program it or somthin

Read the sticky by MartinC in this forum for the correct place to get the bios files .
