x2.6 in v1.6b hangs when booting from dvd

I installed a 2.6ce in a 1.6b xbox, flashed with 5035 v16plus in bank 2. The MS dash will come up just fine, but when I try to boot evox from a dvd it just hangs at the rox my box screen. I changed evox.xbe to default.xbe, created the iso with craxtion 4.0 and burned with nero 7. I've tried all different types of disks (dvd-r, dvd-rw, cd-rw, dvd+r) and it still hangs.

What am I doing wrong? I've modded many xboxs and this one is the biggest pain evar!

Thanks for the advise! AID3 worked!

I tried out one of the other boot disks in my other xbox and it doesn't work either. I think Craxtion 4 is not creating the xiso files correctly. Oh well, AID makes it 10x easier anyway.
