X2.6 installed right but NO Cromwell

I never got the flash bios screen so I did a hot swap to flash it (I used Slayer's Disc) everything seams to be working fine It lights up but it will NOT work I know it is installed right because its the other chip works fine. the hdd has a dash everything is good and working with it until I put the other chip in then when I put the cuter 2.6 in the box in doesnt work Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The D0 placement IS correct

what bios did you flash to the non-working chip?
what version is your box?
when you say 'it will not work' do you get any error codes with the eject led fragging? or does it just not boot the bios?
does the box work normally with the chip disabled?

I tried several different bios that are on the slayers disc
its a 1.4 version
not working means that the box acts like there is NO mod chip with the original hdd installed
and then with the new hdd it get a code 9
the box works normal with chip on or off with the original hdd

i know this might sound repetitive, but the D0 might be in the right point, but isn't making all that good contact with the point and needs a little touching up

The D0 wire it right and fitting well. I can put my spider chip in and everything works as a modded xbox should. But when I put the 2.6 in i get nothing the box works like it never had a chip. The chip lights up and everything Is there a way to flash the bios with no flash bios screen? I have flash the bios with the ones on the Slayer's disc but still nothing
