X2.6 on 1.6 Xbox New and bank1 not working

I have a new 2.6 on a 1.6xbox and get nothing on bank1 but when booting to back2 I get the flash screen. Any idea on what could of happend to bank1? Can I boot to bank2 to get the flash screen and switch the bank from bank2 to bank1 when the xbox is on and then flash to bank 1 or should I just flash the new X2 bios to the second bank.

You have a 1.6b, which is why Bank 1 isn't working. Simple enough though, since the good BIOS is on bank 2 and you'll always flash to Bank 1 first.

Boot from Bank 2.
Flash your chosen 512k BIOS (I suggest X2 5035 v16).
After Xbox switches off, switch to bank 1. This should be your normal boot bank from now on.
