I'm confused with the adapter I bought. Which pins on the adapter do I pull out? before attaching the xecuter 2.6 CE chip too? The adapter has a 5v connection but the xecuter has a connection for it too. I'd prefer to use the adapters one, so I don't have to solder... My adapter is working correctly, I did a test boot andall 5 LED's lit up correctly.
Thx,

Thx,
firstly with solderless adapters you don't pull any pins out - it should be setup correctly when you buy it. You say the adapter has a 5v connecter. From what I know Xenium chips use their 5volt differently so I would not recomend plugging your Xecuter chip into it.

In my opinion you should have purchased a Xapt3r16 solderless adapter which is specifically designed to work on an X2/3 chip. The Xapt3r16 also comes with it's own Alternative 5volt cable which then plugs straight into your Xecuter modchip.

I don't know for certain but I would advise against using that solderless adapter in combination with your X2.6 chip.

That' sucks, I just spent $35 bucks on the adapter. I reluctanly agree, from what I've read the Xapt3r1.6 is what I should bought. I didn't know about it when buying the xecuter.
Currently my xbox boots to normal M$ dash with chip dissabled. But when it's enabled it frags and sometimes does that reboot thing 3times. I ended up only removing the one pin which wouldn't even plug into the Xecuter because the hole was plugged. When the disabled all the adapter LED's light and when it's enabled 1 of the adapter plugs is out, but the Executer and external switch LED's all light up nicely. I feel like it's almost going to work, but then nothing... :(
