X2.6 to X3 Upgrade Problem

I have a v1.0 box with a x2.6 lite modchip that I installed using the pin header method almost 3 months ago. I upgraded the modchip to an X3 using the existing pin header and D0-LAN-HDD wire harness already in my box. After putting it all together, I plugged in the power cable and the box came on by itself. It attempted to boot and then shut off 2 times, and then on the 3rd attempt, it remained on and the Eject button flashed orange and red. No video during the boot attempts. I pressed the on/off button but it wouldn’t shut off. I had to unplug the power cable. I rechecked my harness connections and verified all connectors were properly seated. All good. I tried it again and the same thing happened. I then removed the External Switch and wire harness and tried it again. Again, the same thing happened, it attempted to boot 3 times and then flashed orange and red. I then removed the X3 modchip and reinstalled my x2.6. The box works fine with the x2.6 enabled and disabled. I checked the hardwired harness on the Reset/Eject Adapter for continuity and all wires are good.

This appears to be a faulty modchip or Reset/Eject Adapter problem to me. Any suggestions??

X-S: HDDHackr v1.30 Build 20110303

Team MODFREAKz (TMF) released a new version of HDDHackr, a tool that allows you to use some Western Digital HDDs as Xbox 360 HDD.

What's new/fixed:
* SATA and IDE port scan improved (The ports are now enumerated with the CONFIG_ADDRESS and CONFIG_DATA register instead of using interrupts)
* PATA and SATA controllers list updated
* Automatic Device Reset
* Code optimization to work with modern SATA2 controllers added (Remember to set SATA controllers to IDE and not AHCI mode)
