X2.6 & Xbox 1.6

why is the xbox trying to boot up 3 times and then i get a flashing red/green light, all the points are soldered correctly, i have installed a X2 Pro X3 and a bunch of chips, but this is the worst one

Any tips? Really have to get this one to work...

It's called a FRAG. Read the Forum rules and you can learn more about it.

i know that, it's just that i have tried to install it on 2 xbox'es... and i get the same startup on the box :/

gonna check the soldering with a multimeter tomorrow, can't gat my hands on one at this time cos i've started to drink now and can't drive

so if that's not the problem what is it? one more thing i forgot to mention, i can't 100% understand the PCB Re-Build stuff, maybe it would help me a little more if i saw a real picture of the PCB Re-Build instead of a drawing i could understand it some more... i saw one pic of the X3 but that's not the same as the 2.6, not the shape...

and i don't think i got a PCB Re-Build Kit cus i got my chip in november 04 either that or i don't have a clue about the PCB thingy

So you just sort of started applying heat to things that looked like they needed heat applied to them?

ok, but lemme ask u this, the picture there with the purple x3 pcb, i dont have anything that even looks similar to that one, so how the h*ll am i supposed to rebuild the pcb?

i have read the threads and done what it says. i don't have the rebuild kit so i did the 4 "Lad's"
But i'm gonna check the soldering points later today... sorry for the trouble...
