X2.6CE in 1.6 Questions

I put an X2.6CE into my 1.6 XBox a few weeks ago and I was curious about something..I flashed it with 5032 to bank 1 and I'm using XBMC as a dash as this XBox is only for XBMC. I do have a slight problem, no applications will load apart from my dash if I run it off HDD. My UnleashX boot disc I used to set this up will launch from XBMC just fine, but anything off HDD doesn't seem to run. I'm using its stock 8GB Western Digital HDD if that matters. Its not a big deal as the box does what I need it to, but its just curiousity.

Also, I tried to flash bank 2 but when I reboot off Bank 2 FlashBIOS just shows up. Why is this? Thanks.

What happens when you try to load apps?

You question about flashbios has been answered about a million times on this board. Flashbios always flashes the first 512k to bank 1. It does not matter which bank you booted from.

Oops..been a few days, I forgot about this. Anyhow, XBMC tries to load the apps but it then freezes at a black screen, nothing comes up.

Also, I noticed I worded part of my original post poorly. I can launch apps from the HDD but only if I use my UnleashX boot disc. If its launched via XBMC it will always fail.
