X2.6CE Lite Bios Probs

XBox version: 1.0
Chip: Xecuter 2.6CE Lite
Bios: X2 4981.06

Ok, when I boot the board, it boots into the FlashBios 3.0.3, and I tell it to Flash via HTTP. I type in the assigned IP in Internet Explorer, and then direct it to the bios .bin file. The XBox shows that it is flashing the bios, and then it powers down.

The problem is that when I power the XBox back on, it always goes straight back to the FlashBios screen, instead of loading the Xecuter bios. I've tried swapping from bank 1 to bank 2, and also tried booting with the flash protect either on or off. Always goes back to the FlashBios screen.

Any ideas?

Maybe your bank select switch isn't working properly, if that is the case I believe it will always boot to bank 2. If you are flashing X2CL 5035 (which is what I would recommend) alone this is a 512KB file and will only overwrite bank 1. If you download the X2 BIOS Manager and use the utility to create a 1MB BIOS file it should overwrite both banks. That way even if you are always booting bank 2 it will at least have a mod BIOS on it.

I was trying to flash it with 4981, and it was only a 256k file. Used the X2 bios manager to create a 512k file and it worked fine. Now just have to find a disc the box will read and get Evox on it.

use more upto date dash like xbmc or avalanuch evox dash is old
