there are 2 seperate 512k banks
if you flashed with a 1mb bios then you're going to have the same bios on both banks

Also how are you flashing? Make sure you use the xecuter flashing tool because it gives you control over which banks you are flashing. Evox and other tools may not.

I'm using the first 512k for the main bios I'll be using and the second 512k to hold cromwell. Just in case I d**k something up with the ini or the first bios bank, I still have the means to flash back to a bios I can boot from.

So I'm basicly running two separate configs. One for xbox use and the other for recovery.

I have the same chip and came across the same problem because flashbios will flash both banks on this chip dont know why but here is what you do to fix it. Use Xecuters Bios manager open it and have 5031 be in the first two banks then here is the trick take flash bios or any other bios and put it in banks 3 and 4 Upload the 1mb bios and flash the chip you will see that bank one will be the 5031 and bank 2 will be cromwell or whatever other bios you used. See attached screen shot for an example.
