Hey guys,

I'm currently running an X-B.I.T chip with an X2 BIOS (some older version I guess). I was wondering how large a harddrive may be when using this BIOS together with a foreign non-Xecuter chip.
I want to buy the Western Digital 320GB drive, but I want to be 100% sure that it works with my config.

Thanks.

BIOS version (according to Evo-X) is 1.00.4983.06.

The drive is listed, but what do the Xbox versions mean? I mean, I know what they mean in general, but is it possible that the drive will work with 1.3 and not with 1.2? I thought this would be a BIOS-only thing.

ok - I would advise flashing your chip with X2 4983.67, or the new X2CL BIOS (which you can configure the partitioning dynamically. You'll have both an F and G drive because of the size of the HDD.

If your drive model is listed and says lockable, then that's all you need to know. People add their xbox version just to record the information.
