Klutsh, in the current X2CL web app (still for 5030) the "No Reset On Eject" box seems to code a 0 in the ini no matter if it is checked or not. Unless I'm losing it...

which is entirely possible.

Anyone having any issues with the FTP function (using v2.6.7 with 5032 BIOS-X2 Lite)? It doesn't seem to work. It connects (avalaunch shows user connected, x2 CM indicates that it transfered the .ini file, but when checking the ini on the xbox, it hasn't changed (file is not uploaded). Same goes for the custom logo (isn't uploaded either). As a test, I deleted x2config.ini file on the xbox, to see if it would upload with no .ini file present, no change. I haven't gotten the FTP function to work with any of the X2 config tools. Great app by the way.

I test the FTP function with the latest CVS version of XBMC.

I'll add an error logger later today.

But the way it does it is connect, change's dir to E or F uploads the ini
changes dir to / then changes to E and upload the x2logo.bmp.

I know it is something with Avalaunch for sure. Back when I started modding my box the client FTP program I used allowed me to transfer a file (such as an xml, or better yet ini!) directly to an app on my PC (notepad, etc.) via a temp file. When I closed the file in notepad I was then prompted with the question of did I want to upload the changes. I used to be able to answer yes and it would update the file, no problem. This still works if I have FTP through EvoX. Since the December Avalaunch I receive some sort of write failure. Hasn't been a big enough issue for me to take it up with them, but I think they should address it. I'm guessing with Avalaunch it somehow ties into their boost mode for FTP. Hmm... IIRC there is a setting to disable that in the dash or XML. Wonder if there is any difference?

Klutch, if you're able to fix it once you start logging I'd be curious to know what you find. These changes to a fairly established protocol have me intriqued as to what is breaking it. If you don't want to bloat the thread just PM if you'll share. Thx!

Had some time to do some testing, played around with the two boostmode options in Avalaunch. No change to the file transfer, it still failed to update. (I was wrong about getting an error message tho.) Tested the same in EvoX, worked fine. Something funky with Ava's newer FTP at the base level.

Yup, I've tracked the bug, I'll have a fixed version release in a day or 2, but for now here's one for you to try.

No luck with this version. Indicates that it transfers the file, but it doesn't. Have you had any luck tracking XBMC FTP issues? I'm using XBMC as my dash now.
