The file goes on either the root of E or the root of F (if available). This is the configuration file for the X2CL BIOS. It controls the boot options, colors, what dashboard gets loaded, etc. The best utility I've seen for editing this file (and the only one compatible with 5035) is X2 Config Maker (X2CM) and is available in the downloads section of www.x-projects.org.

did you configure the ini file?
what are you trying to do/change exactly?

the readme1st.txt is in the x2 5035 bios rar download from xbins

First i did edit the ini file with x2 config maker.

I switched the x logo from green to red, and at the bottom i changed the xecuter logo to blue and the eject button to random color change.

Then i reset the box, hoping that the changes would take effect, but no effect:(.

Also when i boot up in mod mode i get the following screen

black screen and across it it say xecuter 2 live loading.....

So what am I doing wrong......

Thanks

The changes will only work with the mod enabled, it won't change the MS BIOS at all. The "X2 Config Live Loading" screen is the BIOS giving the HDD enough time to initialize so it can look for the x2config.ini file, it then reads the file and boots with the settings specified. Does it go past this screen?

In X3CM you did save the file and transfer it over to your Xbox, right? If you FTP to your Xbox and look on the E (or F) drive the file does reside on the root folder, correct?

Sorry if these seem like basic questions, but sometimes you need to start there.
