x2config.ini - changes don't do anything

I've been editing a couple lines in x2config, but nothing seems to change.

These are the two changes I made:

; display flubber anim
doStartupAnimation = 0

; do fast animation
fastAni = 1

Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks, but I wasn't putting the file in the root of E. I didn't know any better.
