X2config.ini changes not taking on xbox

I have a xenium mod on v1.0 running X2 5035 bios with avalaunch dashboard. I wanted to put the avalaunch dashboard on the e: drive so I copied all the dashboard files to the e:\ drive and deleted them from the c:\ drive. Then I removed the X2 5035 bios from my mod os and then changed the x2config.ini to look for avalaunch on e:\avalaunch.xbe which is were it is now located. I put the X2 bios ini file and the .bin file on my flash drive and readded it to the launch menu this time with the changed .ini file. I loaded the bios and then launched it. when it is doen loading the X2 screen it then proceeds to load the default bios. Am I doing somthing wrong reinstalling the bios. Do you just change the x2config.ini on your computer and then readd the bios and ini to the lauch? any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to put the x2config.ini file on your Xbox, either in the root of E or F. This file is what makes this series of X2 BIOSes "config live," where you no longer need to edit the BIOS bin file and then reflash. You can just edit the ini file on the fly, and then see your changes on reboot.
