x2logo file missing?

I'm ready to install a Xecuter 2.6 lite modchip and I think that I have all the files needed except I'm missing the default x2logo.bmp file.

Could it be that afther I flash the chip by auto it will use/generate the default x2logo.bmp?

I found the BIOS X2.5035 which contains the x2config.ini file and offcource the BIOS bin file.

Make a logo on paintbrush with a resolution of 150 x 80 and save it as x2logo.bmp and ftp it to E drive.

Heres what you do (Using Microsoft Paint):

1) Open up Paint from the Accessories Menu in the Start Menu, then press Ctrl + E. The Attributes dialog should appear, like below:

2) Copy the values shown in the picture above, and Press OK. The logo needs to be a 180x50 pixels size.

3) Add your logo/picture in the space provided.

4) Once you are satisfied with your logo/picture, press Ctrl + S to save the logo/picture. A Save As dialog should appear like below:

5) In the File name: field, type: "x2logo" (Without the quotes of course).

6) In the Save as type: field, select 250 Color Bitmap (*.bmp;*.dib) option, and then Press Save.

7) Ignore the warning, and Press Yes

Now you'll just need to FTP the created x2logo.bmp to your Xbox HDD. This file should be placed in either your root E:\ or root F:\, depending on where your x2config.ini file is.



NOTE: For the X3 BIOS, just follow the above same steps, but name the filename as "x3logo", and FTP x3logo.bmp to root E:\

there's a default logo that will automatically appear under the xbox logo, there's no seperate file for it, its already built-in
you can however replace it by using the guide above by islander223
