worked for months, and the other day my xbox went and switched over to PAL...now i can't see anything, and after trying just about everything, i hastily tried http reflashing 3029 and 1959 with the backup 3.0.1 before i realized i could burn out an enigmah disc. somehow, when i flashed over the two banks with 1959 it lost the working ones and wont take the new one. so now i can't boot any burned media, and the eeprom is stuck in PAL until i can get the bios running again . i can't even play my retail games because i can't SEE them! the only thing that displays properly is the m$ dash through composite cables. damn us and our sh*tty ntsc-only tvs
the http flashing appears to work, but the x logo on the ext. switch changes from purple to blue mid-flash, and the xbox turns off as if it completed. when i start it up, red x and it just boots to the ms dash. won't go to x3cl, and won't play burned media
and oddly, a quick press of the power+eject makes the switch purple for a moment, then blue, but still boots to m$!
