Yes i have done alot of searching for what i am trying to find .... i found some people that have had the same problem, but i am not having the same results when going through the t-shooting.

I bought 2 Xbox's about a month or 2 ago. 1 of them i a moded already with the X3. Before i did the next new Xbox i was playing on it and it works fine. The solder looks good from what i can tell. I try and turn it on but nothing happens, no lights , no nothing. I then remove the daughter board and plug directly to MB, still nothing. I then remove the X3 and nothing. Still no power, nothing happens. I also moded 2 other MB's the same way and they respond the same way and they are 1.6 MB's and X3 chips. Yes the power is plugged into the board, yes it is plugged in the back of the Xbox.
Yes i followed the following guide:
http://www.teamxecuter.com/x3/tutorials/x3pin16.htm
Can someone please point me the right direction ?
Thanks alot !!

You've shorted or blown something.

If the Xbox won't even boot with everything removed (chip, LPC rebuild etc) then you need to start checking stuff.

Have you checked the Power supply fuse?

I didnt check the fuse but it is a brand new xbox ... not to mention i just swapped the power supply with a brand new one. Still the same thing. This is 3 motherboards that were 1.6 each and none of them work ?
Blown all 3 mobo's ? Thats tough to believe, i have done a few mods and have taken my time and double checked everything.

I started out with the same problem.. my crystal 1.6b xbox wouldn't startup at all.. even with or without the modchip, then I desoldered everything I had soldered, cleaned everything up, and tried it again, now
the xbox was working like it was.. so it was a solder prob with me the first time this happend..

So I would do the same to check that the xbox "clean" can boot up..

Remove everything you put in.. Modchip and clean ALL the solder..

Then check it again. That way you can really see for sure what it could be.. 'cause 99% of the time it's bad soldering..even for those who think they are experts .. :D

Can you confirm:

1. These are ALL 1.6 motherboards.
2. The case is a 1.6 case.
3. The power supply is from a 1.6.

Martin
1. All 1.6 MB's.
2. yes 1.6 case
3. Yes 1.6 PS

I had the same think.
But, if I place the X3 and press the power button, the X3 lights (blue) up for a second and then it goes down again. (but nothing happens at the front panel (no green or red light)

I haven't measured any points yet, but it seems not the standby 3.3V otherwise I think the X3 won't do anything aswell
