this is only my 3rd install of an x3 chip, 1st time on a 1.6b. anyways it loads to the point where you select how you want to flash the chip and then freezes,controller does nothing. wont scroll up or down to select which method to flash the chip. help....

Have you tried moving the selection as soon as it boots?
Are you using the std MS controller?
Have you made sure there's nothing else connected?
Are you able to use the Xbox correctly with the chip off?

Martin thanks for your response. I don't know what i did, but it started working all of a sudden. at first i thought it was a bad solder point, but i've done everything i can think of to try and get it to recreate those symptoms, including shaking the damn thing, but nothing has worked. Thanks for your help anyways. I'm sure i'll be posting again.
93450c xecuter lt switch wont read after flash
My issue is similar to last post but i didnt want to post hijack.

I have a xbox360 with 93450C drive. I installed Xecuter LT Switch. I was able to read and dump old firmware and key. I flashed the drive with new firmware and when i tried to play a game it didnt read the dvd. It wouldnt read orig xbox360, burnt game or burnt dvd with movie on it that i used on that xbox before. Drive ejects and closes on command.
I tried flashing the drive back to the original firmware but it still wont read disc. I tried opening closing drive and restarting xbox but still the same thing.
Please help.

on a side note, is the pcb for drive single layer or multi layer. i was afraid that when i cut traces i may have cut too deep and cut inner layer. i dont think i did tho.

im sorry i know this was stupid but half the time i was screwing with this i didnt save the log.

Hey, the same exact thing happened to me the other day. It just says reading for a minute and then says open. Not sure what i did exactly to fix it but I did. 1st i made sure all the rippons where pushed in fully, even the center on thats connected to the laser. Cleaned and blew on the lens just incase it got dusty from the fiberglass pen. Then I took my OFW from the 1st flash and used that as a source FW and spoofed it to the provided 93450c stock fw thats provided for you on xbins. Flashed a BAM it worked just fine. Once that happend, Then took that CFW stock version as source and then had JF autoload LT. I was in business after that, hope this helps

i just realized i was using JungleFlasher v0.1.74 Beta (138) instead of the new one. Is that going to really screw things up for me? i tried using the new jungle flasher but its still doing the same thing. drakes fix didnt help.

Your log looks fine mate, i'm not sure what your problem is if you followed the tutorial correctly.
I would completely uninstall the LT switch from your drive (as its not even needed now that you have your original firmware) and repair the traces so the drive is basically the way it was before cutting the traces etc.
Load you original firmware into JF, spoof it into LT1.1.
Hit the Liteon Erase button (with the drive turned on), when the intro dots appear power cycle the drive ONCE.If nothing happens don't bother power cycling the drive again, wait till the dots have finished and click the intro device id button and your drive should appear automatically.
Proceed to write the firmware to the drive.
Obviously the latest version of JF is recommended.
