X3 1959 bios and stealth install

I have a xbox 1.4 with x3,1959 bios.Iwas wondering how to make the 1959 bios boot from F,so that i can do a stealth install.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

in the X3 live config you can choose what disk the dash should be started from.

Where to buy LT switch in the US

All sellers are in the UK, so it will take weeks to get to the US.

instead of using an LT switch follow this guide to make a probe, http://www.hackingjungle.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=670 having used the LT switch and this i can deffinatly say this is easier, and more cost effectve for multiple drives. I made 1 a while back just using 2 10ohm resistors and its dumped a few 9 series now no problem, really easy to make and easy to use, on 1 drive i had problems with vendor mode in jungleflasher so just used dosflash32 to read the drive which worked just as well

i really cant remember, i got a freind to go buy the resistors for me, he rang me when he was in the shop when the guy asked him what voltage i'd be using on them which is 3.3v in this case, i'm presuming he knew from that, they were just 5 band blue 10ohm resistors

Hmm,this sucks.

So I tried doing it, and I always have "No Drive Recognized" but then when I do a intro it switches from 52 to D52(I believe) when I turn it on and off.

I got the properties of the drive ONCE(where it said Liteon 8C), but nothing about the flash chip.

how are you doing it, i had problems with 1 of the 9 series so i just used dos flash 32 to read it.
power on the drive with both probes in possition, dosflash will recognise and put the drive in vendor mode.
then tilt the negative pin out leaving only the 3.3v probe in, then click read, this should work.
are your cuts all fine aswell, i cant remember how i did it in jungleflasher the first time, i think i just put the probe in position, started jungleflasher, and clicked intro and it put the drive in vendor mode, then tilted the negative pin out and clicked read, like i said though the last drive i did wouldnt return the correct status, also did you bridge the trace that the probe tutorial said to

I cant really tell if I fully cut the trace, I'll have to get a magnify glass. They look cut, but the cut is SO small I cant see it.

Anyways, I'm having this same problem with all my other Liteon drives(it finds the drive but wont intro) until I do a LO Erase on them...but theres no point in that since I cant get the key out yet.

Normally when I cut the traces I make 2 cuts next to each other and remove a very small peice of the trace so it ends up about a 1mm cut on the trace, this just ensures it's cut properly, have you tried getting a different computer to recognise liteons, maybe it's a problem with your setup
