i uninstalled .net framework v2 and installed v3.5
i uninstalled and reinstalled iprep 10.7 with the new lt definitions
none of that fixed my FW loading problem

I tried this TUT on using some kind of aftermarket Via driver that doesnt lock up the pc and it doesnt lock up the pc.
I can erase my Liteon drive and get status 0x72
BUT IT DOESNT RETURN GOOD DRIVE INFO
I even tried clicking on write and it wont without good drive info
what do i do?

I've tried the "Lite-on Erase" button like 20 times and no luck of "Good Drive Info"

grrrrr
I had it all back together and I tested it out for 20 mins on a brand new game..
it was working then I took it and plugged it in another tv and got the OPEN TRAY error
what do I do now? just mess with the drive's cables?

took it all apart
somehow the laser got pushed all the way back and I guess it couldnt get itself out?
I've seen that happen alot with other drives...wierd?
