I realize this topic has been discussed to death and the moderators and top members are probably cringin at the sight of this topic but I have tried everything and can't seem to get this password issue resolved.
My XBOX Specs:
Version 1.0
Original HDD
Xecuter X3 mod chip (pin header install)
X3 v1959 on banks 1234 and currently EVOX M8 on bank 5
Here's what I've tried so far.
1. Originally HTTP flashed the bios with v1959. Re-booted asks for password.
2. Installed X2 Bios 4983.06 and 4983.67 (on seperate occations) on Bank 5.
3. X2 Bios installed no problems.
4. Tried several times to create a bootable evolution X disc using Nero 6, Qwix, and 100MB and 600MB dummy file.
5. I keep getting the message saying that it is not a valid XBOX disc.
6. Tried flashing with EVOX M8 bios - was able to flash but still can't boot EVOX dash
This is where I am stuck, I've tried several CD-RW media already, Memore 4X CDRW, Verbatim 2X-4X CDRW and Maxell 4X CDRW with same results.
-I made sure to rename my file default.xbe and I've also tried just creating an ISO with the erease utility on it and nothing.
At this point I think its the media compatability with my XBOX . I can't try a DVD-R at the moment because I don't have a DVD burner.
Can anyone give me some clue as to what I could be doing wrong? Is anyone aware of a 1959 binary with this password feature disabled?
Please help (take it easy I'm a n00b).
Thanks in advance everybody.
