after saving burnout 3 to my samsung sp0612N hard drive, on rebooting, the dash wont load and x3 1959 bios becomes grindingly slow but theres no sign of any filesize for e:\

reformatting e: solves this, but i keep losing all my savegames

anyone aware of any similar issues with other hard drives.... is it hdd at fault or is it

without any evidence to back this up it sorta sounds like the xbox uses e: for virtual memory, putting your games on this drive takes up the space leaving only the xbox ram to use, possibly not enough. just a thought.

Bad Serial Data!! Lite-on 7 series STOCK

Having the bad serial data message appear when i try get the key from the drive using the CK3 and probe.

All drivers are installed, everything is good to go. I get a green connection when probing the R707 but it's still giving me this error. I have tried switching USB ports, the COM4 stays the same. The drive is halfway open.

Does ANYONE have any idea on how I can flash this B***stard! lool

Really need help guys!

It looks like your PROBE IS SHOT. Either buy a new probe or the whole kit or if you know someone with a kit borrow theirs and see if you get the same error.

Hope this helps :)

Nevermind, I flashed now anyway :D I had a dodgy cable on the probe that was plugged into the drive, a wire was loose. I managed to hold it al together aswell as the probe on the R707 hole and it managed to read :p
