X3 1959 will not flash

I installed X3 in my 1.4, flashed #2 switch on, 134 off with 1959, then installed evox. Everything seemed fine until I discovered my dvd would not read anything. I tried to reflash 1-4-the fash halted, then I tried to flash5-8 the flash halted. I thought maybe the protect switch was bad so I unpluged it. I got the same results. So I turned on switch 2 and now I have nothing but a black screen and it frags. Is there a way to erase the bios or to correct this problem so it will flash. I tried via internet and cdr,dvdr and nothing works?

Did you turn off the flash protection switch that is on the chip its self?

Can't you just load the backup bios by pressing the eject and power button together, set the switches to ON ON OFF OFF OFF and flash with the X3_1959 bios?

I tried , It says unkown bios over so many kbs

Flash it over the internet but use an older x3 bios.
Maybe the file you downloaded is corrupted or your xbox is
just acting up. I'm sure when you get any bios flashed to the
x3. The xbox will be happy again.

What's an older bios that will work with the X3? I thought 1959 was the only one that would..

1957 works with xbox v1.0 to v1.5 with minor bugs
