i fail to understand the concept behind adding new features while the size of the bios remains the same. Can a fellow forumer please guide me to the path of light and tell me how this is accomplished?
hopefully. oo dat the bios is really only a very small file. ik theres 300k worth of code, the rest of the space is filled up with 0s

then why dont they make the bios size 512k? if its more than 256 but less then 512, why make the user use all the extra space? that space could be filled with other bioses...
I ask what are you doing where you need another bios besides a linux bios? the xecuter bios are the most feature rich bios to date. so what do you need in another bios that yoru not gettign from xecuter
A little of topic, but whats the latest word on the new X2 bios Team Xecuter? Will it still be released at the same time as the new X3 bios?
I hope it gets released soon because i really really REALLY dont like the evox m8+ bios on 1.6/b xbox i mod with the x2.6, it just doesnt have the same feel as a xecuter bios. I really hope that you release it at the same time Team X
If you don't like the m8 bios on your xecuter chip, why don't you use an xecuter bios?FoxRacR17 said:

If you read my post you would see that i said i do not like putting the m8 bios on customers xbox's that i mod that happen to be 1.6/b, because they are not as good as the xecuter bios, i feel as if i'm doing a half as job for them by giving them a half ass bios. FoxRacR17, I was replying to KissMyWookie's response. The fact is the bios is not out yet. Who knows when. There was no rush to release it because the m8 plus bios was working fine.

i have to say, i was curious too, what is the size of the bios? do you have a start and and end byte to the bios code, then the rest is just superfulus code?
