X3 3.01 flashbios, boot problem

I flashed my 1.6 Xbox with FlashBios 3.01 from a DVD. It turned itself off. Then I turned it on again and i´m back at the Blue Flashbios 3.01 again, NOT the Xboot picture as you showed on your guide. The External switch stays blue.

What is wrong?
What should i do?

It shocks me how many people flash with flashbios. FLASHBIOS IS TO LET YOU FLASH 1959. <sigh>

how come i try to flash my xbox 1.6 X3CE chip with 1959v16plus and it not work..it said wrong bios.. my Xbox dvd-rom is Thomas..

does it say halted, unknown version?

You have flash protect on. Make sure it's disabled on the modchip itself - And make sure you got your external switch to "on/on/off/off/off"

Also make sure that the file you have tried to flash is the .BIN and not the .RAR file that it came in - this should be exactly 1024kb.

Also ... (this happened to a guy the other day) if you are doing it on cd - re-download the .bin file and RE-do the CD .... it got corrupted somehow in the process.

Which is WHY I prefer network flashing - MUCH easier and trouble free !!

Yup.. hehe.. realized that quite stupid now when you think about it =)
